Valentine’s Day is around the corner! Unfortunately we are still in a lockdown, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the occasion with your loved one.

Opheem

Treat you and your loved one to Michelin-starred Indian takeaway, Opheem! For £70, you can enjoy a selection of flavoursome curries – created by the Michelin starred chef Aktar Islam.

Pulpera

With Valentine’s Day falling on Sunday, why not enjoy a South American Sirloin Roast Dinner including a whopping 1kg of dry Argentinian beef!

Opheem chef-owner Aktar Islam also owns the Argentinian Steak Restaurant and you’ll be in for a treat with their Sunday lunch.

The Sunday Roast comes with all the trimmings, and each box comes with 1kg of 30-50 dry-aged sirloin so there will be plenty left over to make roast beef sandwiches throughout the week. All for £65 per dinner box.

Harborne Kitchen

If you’re looking to try something new and different, Makan Tabao at Harbone Kitchen is a must! Head Chef Tom Wells has developed a new Singapore inspired takeaway perfect for the occasion.

The Southeast Asian dishes include Umami packed noodle broth with crispy pork belly (£12) and Mi Cuit Salmon Donburi steamed rice salad with cured Lock Duart salmon, egg yolk, kombu, edamame, and dashi vinegarette.

The dishes start from £6 to £12.

Opus

If you’re looking for fresh British produce, Opus is a must try for you.

For Valentine’s Day, the fine-dining eatery is offering a Valentine’s To You five-course menu including leek and potato Velouté to start, a choice of either Devon crab and lobster filo tart or mushroom and tarragon filo tart before going on to mains which is a herb coated loin of Cornish lamb, braised lamb and potato terrine or a veggie option if you prefer.

Finish it off with a Pershore rhubarb and ginger custard millefeuille and homemade chocolate truffles. Plus, you’ll receive half a bottle of champagne.

Sabai Sabai

Birmingham restaurant Sabai Sabai is also offering a set menu for the romantic day!

You are able to choose from seafood dishes including Thai calamari , papaya, and shrimp salad, lobster tail – pan-fried lobster tail in a rich and delicately spiced Panang Sauce. Served with tender-stem broccoli and garnished with sliced peppers.

Set menus for two start from £53.90.
