    Transportation

    Train – Selly Oak Train Station is connected to Birmingham’s mainline, giving you frequent access to New Street Station in no time at all.
    Bus – Many bus services run through the area, giving residents hugely convenient access to the city centre. Major routes include the 63 from Birmingham to Frankley which stops at Selly Oak Station and several stops along Bristol Road. Depending on the day, this bus arrives in Selly Oak at a frequency of between 7 and 20 minutes.
    Car – The A38 links Selly Oak to Central Birmingham and gives easy access to the M6.

    The University’s proximity gives residents great opportunities to take scenic walks through campus. Talking of walks, Selly Oak Park is the perfect place to stroll through wonderful scenery, relax with friends, or turn your phone off and immerse yourself in a good book.     The area also has an abundance of restaurants, shops and beauty parlours, which line the road, Bristol Road, which goes through the middle of the area.
